Inspired by the music and enthusiasm of their friends and their band, Blind Pilot, Max Dunn (Camera, Editor) and Emily Ellickson-Brown (Sound, Still Photographer) decided to pursue happiness (and flaunt all reason) by hitting the road with them on their west coast bike tour, and documenting as much as they could for 2 months, over 2,000 miles, and 40 shows. We knew the scenery and the music would be beautiful, but somewhere in between all the flat tires, broken strings, Pacific coast vistas and performances just as moving, Blind Pilot's west coast bike tour demonstrated what human beings are capable of when they 'put themselves out there.'
